[Archive] LITERAL ADDICTION's Review of Infinite Desire

Gayle Donnelly and Robyn Mackenzie
Gayle and Robyn both hail from the Midwest. Writing partners as well as friends (perhaps even sisters in another life), both are married and each has two wonderful children. The similarities don’t stop there. Both earned degrees in English education, both have a profound weakness for Starbucks coffee, and both are completely captivated by the ethereal beauty found in the Pacific Northwest.

Their individual passions for writing and storytelling, led them to create the BLOOD FEUD series, which just closed out in November with Infinite Desire.

You can stalk Gayle and Robyn online at their Website, on Facebook, on Twitter, and on GoodReads.

Book three in the Blood Feud series.Coteri warrior Tremayne has hidden his darker side for centuries. Yet after months of working in the oppressive heat of New Orleans, Tre is struggling to keep his inner beast in check. Then one chance meeting with a mysterious newcomer threatens his control.

Alexandria’s family has sheltered her for her entire life, grooming her since birth to hate and fear their enemies. She has worked tirelessly in her genetic research, her sole focus on helping her people to survive. Now she wants one night to experience all New Orleans has to offer.Even as their bodies burn for one another and their beasts call like to like, Tre and Alex struggle to accept that many of the rock-solid truths they have always believed are just an illusion. With each new truth exposed, more doubt surfaces, but learning to trust in this new reality ends up no match for the power of their passion.

Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION’s Pack Alpha - Chelle:

I have been with this series and these amazing authors since day #1, and I think they ended the series with a bang! This book starts out immediately steamy, but sucks you into the story as it wears on, gives closure where needed, allows additional side characters’ stories to be resolved, and reminds fans why we loved this series from the get-go.

In a bit of Romeo and Julietesque forbidden desire, shifters Tremayne and Alexandria hook up for a night of passion. The rub? Tre doesn’t know that Alex is the ‘enemy’, and Alex doesn’t know Tre’s whole story either. Add in the fact that both of them have been led astray nearly their entire life by the half truths and duplicity of their clans, and Infinite Desire becomes about so much more than their love story.

Infinite Desire can be read as a stand-alone, but I highly suggest treating yourself to the trilogy. The BLOOD FEUD series is action, romance, adventure, and intrigue all rolled into some wonderful world building and characters that you will love to love and love to hate.

I would highly recommend the entire series to PNR lovers and shifter fans far and wide.
