As a long time fan of Carrie Ann Ryan and the Redwood Pack, I have been patiently waiting for North to get his story.

I knew to expect the secrets that both North and Lexi had and I knew to expect them to be very important to the Jamenson Family and their war against the Centrals. What I didn’t expect was to be thrown around emotionally a time or two while reading this story.
They have so many trials to overcome, it was like as they climbed one mountain another was waiting for them. Which as a long time fan of the Redwoods made this story an emotional one. That and knowing that this is the second to last book in the series I am not going to lie, a few chapters to the end I was crying.
I am also VERY VERY happy to see a few characters gets whats been coming to them for far too long!
I have to say that I am so happy with Carrie Ann’s ever growing talent and how deep she has taken each book in the Redwood series. I can definitely tell that with each new book in this series that she knows she is getting closer to the end and that she is putting more and more of herself into each one to make sure that her fans know that this might be the end of this series but she won’t let us ever forget it.

I give Hidden Destiny 5 out of 5 skulls!
